Except as noted, all symbols are shown at 48 point size, with auto-leading. They are shown at this size to improve legibility at screen resolutions; this is twice the size you would use for printed materials.

j Symbol size matches all other symbols; requires compressed leading for multiple rows in single text block (set leading to 1/4 point size). Example is 48 pt with 8 pt leading.
J Symbol size is 6 times that of all other symbols. Compressed leading is not required for multiple rows in single text block, but must be set in point size 1/6 that of other symbols to match. Example is 8 pt with auto-leading.
Y  }  { Zero-width fighter-group symbols (normal, ace, and turkey). Must be followed by space (for normal), period (.), A, F, H, I, L, or T for group type.
Y. Dot is overlaid on zero-width fighter-group symbol.

Advanced fighter groups. Letter is overlaid on zero-width fighter-group symbol. Could also use Ace or Turkey fighter-group symbol.
+  ^  -  ,  = Zero-width beam quadrant symbols. Type one or more beam quadrant characters, followed by the beam-class letter (see below). The zero-width beam quadrant symbols overlay each other, and the letter overlays them in the correct location.
A  B  C  * Valid beam-class symbols.
^-A Example of beam symbol usage: Class-A beam with fore and port quadrants.

Normal-space drive. Drive box symbol is zero-width. Type drive box symbol followed by digit for full drive symbol.
