Select Folder

Compatibility: 4.2.3 - 5.0.1 - 5.0.2b20 - 5.1.2 - MacOS - Windows

I've found that I frequently need to get a local folder/directory path, for a variety of reasons. I got tired of repeatedly typing the necessary code into the Quick Script window, so I wrote a script to do the work for me.

Now I can select any string or filespec entry in the ODB and choose Select Folder... from my custom menu to replace the string or filespec with a local folder path; the item's type will remain unchanged. Or I can select any table to edit or create an item named "folder" inside the table.

My most common use of the script is to retarget the #ftpsite.folder item of a website when I move between Mac and Windows while experimenting.
