House Rules: Miscellaneous Bits
Character Leaving Demoralized Unit
[from Roger Books]
When a character attached to a demoralized unit leaves that unit, the unit
must make a morale check, with the character's rally bonus as a negative modifier.
A character can move off from a unit to join another, say to try to help them rally better
(unless either unit is a monster or dragon). This is no big deal if the unit isn't demoralized.
However, when a hero or general abandons a unit that's already in trouble, it's likely to
further degrade their morale.
With this rule, having your general abandon your double-demoralized unit probably means they
are going to break, which I think models things well.
